Or, if you’ve just acquired a pup under 2 years old, you might need a place where he can burn off some energy, and return to you after work relaxed, exercised – and less likely to destroy yet another pair of boots – or worse, your furniture.

Nestled on a picturesque country property beside Winter Wheat, South of the artisan village of Sparta, See Spot Run is a small sized kennel, built in fall of 2006 to exceed all current pet care industry standard requirements.  See Spot Run is a cageless facility - meaning your pet will only be enclosed in a "kennel" if necessary for his own health or safety - or at your request.  Even if you wish your dog to be kennelled overnight to continue crate training - or for any other reason, each indoor suite has access to an additional outdoor run. Each individual run has access to the large exercise yard.  As a cageless facility See Spot Run eases your dog's stress level, because there is less barking and virtually no confinement anxiety.  Because your dog has unlimited outdoor access (excepting extremely cold days), there are rarely any doggy "accidents" in the kennel, so your dog will be less likely to think eliminating on cement (in your garage or basement) is appropriate when he returns home.

Cageless facilities are based on the premise that all dogs accommodated are sociable and non-aggressive.  One unsociable dog may result in all guests having to be confined to kennels and rotated out to the exercise yard, so please consider your dog's temperament very carefully before deciding See Spot Run is right for your pet.  Although the rewards for your pet at a cageless facility are much higher, there is ultimately higher risk. 

See Spot Run is small by design.  A smaller group ensures more focused supervision, and allows staff to really get to know your dog.  Dogs are allowed all day free access to the exercise yard, and even hang out in the office with staff.  They choose where they would like to nap, whom they would like to play with and, in many cases, receive more excercise and personal attention then they would at home.  A true vacation for your pet while you're enjoying yours!

Music is played to soothe. Toys, bones, sticks and play equipment (including a doggy pool) are "found" in the yard.   Feeding and medications are given is as per client information provided.

Cats will love the custom "cat house", complete with a large window to get the morning sun, ledges to perch on at various levels and items they'll love to scratch, play with or safely chew on like catgrass.  They even get a window that opens between the cathouse and the kennel office. 

All suites are cleaned and disinfected between every occupant, and every day.
